Mr Botchway is a Chartered Accountant with experience that spans over 16 years in the insurance industry in Ghana. Prior to becoming the Managing Director, Eric joined Pinnacle life as the Executive Director in charge of Finance and Administration. He is results oriented and a highly accomplished finance professional. Prior to joining Pinnacle Life as an Executive Director Eric held Chief Finance Officer positions at Imperial General Assurance, Metropolitan Life Insurance Ghana Limited and Quality Insurance Company Limited.

Eric has expertise in financial reporting, budgeting and budgetary control, forecasting, financial analysis, planning, investment management and strategy.

Eric started his insurance career at Star Assurance and played a key role in the establishment of the Finance Department at Star Life Assurance Company Ltd

He is a Chartered Accountant and member of Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) (UK) and has Executive MBA (Business Administration – Finance Option) from the University of Ghana Business School.
